Works without an account
No sign-up, no email, no password to create. You open the app and start. Your financial data is never uploaded to a server of ours, because there is no such server.
BudgetMate tracks your income and spending, shows you where the money goes, and keeps all of it on your device. No account to create, no server of ours in between, and nobody else with access to your numbers.

All the day-to-day work β recording, reviewing, budgeting β happens on the device. A connection is only needed to refresh exchange rates or back up to Google Drive, and only when you ask for it.
Hold accounts in several currencies at once, with refreshable exchange rates and a primary currency for the consolidated total. Built for people who earn, spend or save in more than one.
The features already in the app today. Each one has its section in the manual.
Cash, bank accounts, savings, cards. Group them however you like and see each balance or the consolidated one.
Income, expense or a transfer between your own accounts, with category, subcategory, note and a photo of the receipt if you want to keep it.
Set what you mean to spend per category and watch the progress while the month is still running, not once it is over.
Statement and payment dates, the current cycle balance, and foreign-currency purchases worked out the way your bank charges them.
Rent, subscriptions, salary, loan payments. Define each one once with its frequency and stop having to remember it.
Where the month went, how the balance is trending, which category grew. With per-category and per-account detail.
An .xlsx file for the period you choose β for your accountant, for a tax return, or simply to hold a readable copy.
Manual or automatic, with AES-256 encryption and a key only you hold. If the phone is lost, your data is not.
Ask for your fingerprint or face on open, and keep your balances out of screenshots and the recent-apps view.
Spanish, English, Portuguese, French, Russian, Simplified Chinese, Hindi, Bengali, Urdu, Arabic and Indonesian, sample categories included.
Most finance apps ask you for an account because your data lives on their server. BudgetMate has no server, so it does not ask you for an account.
And here is what does leave the device:
If the app crashes, a crash report is sent to Firebase Crashlytics (Google's) containing crash data, your device model and an installation identifier. It never includes your transactions or your amounts. It is on by default and you can turn it off in Settings. We say it here because the Privacy Policy says it, and the two have to agree.
The first time you open BudgetMate, a four-step wizard leaves everything configured. The manual walks through that wizard and every screen that follows.
